MEET OUR STAFF
Employee Benefits Specialists, Inc., was established
in Houston in August of 1983. Gregg Slape, owner and President has been
involved in the group insurance industry for the past 30 years. During these
years, the first ten were spent in various capacities with several insurance
companies. The last twenty years have been dedicated to expanding available
products and growing the client base to where it is today.
In May of
1990, Debi Hiers joined Employee Benefits Specialists as Administrative
Assistant with the primary responsibility of in-house Marketing. Consistent
growth has enabled the agency to use Debi's twenty-four years of group
insurance experience and knowledge of products. Responsibilities have been
expanded to include Client Service while still directing the Marketing
effort.
Noel Vincent joined us in April 2002. Noel is a financial
consultant with 17 years of professional investment experience. He specializes
in retirement and estate planning for seniors in the Champions/FM 1960 area of
northwest Houston where he lives and works. Noel was born in the Midwest, but
he was raised in Texas. He and wife, Stephanie, have been married for 14 years,
and they have two children, Chelsea and Noah. They are very active in their
local church.
Steve Rhatigan has been associated with EBS since 1994. He
has been in the financial and estate planning profession since 1975. In the
early 80's he began working with the special needs community. He soon became a
prominent advocate for issues dealing with these individuals and helped build
the national organizations Estate Planning for Persons with Disabilities
and the National Institute for Life Planning. He devotes as much time as
possible to helping families cope with the long term care and finances of their
disabled children.
Hal Brown joined the firm in the Spring of 2000,
bringing a vast knowledge of the medical profession with him. Because of his
experience in the Home Health Care and Extended Care, Hal is targeting
individuals and groups for Long Term Care and some of our Payroll Deduction
products such as Cancer and Accident Policies.
The first person you
would normally meet when coming to our office is Holly Presley. Her reception
responsibilities always include making our guests feel welcome, but we are
fortunate that she can help us in other ways. Holly also assists Debi in the
Marketing effort. |
